Answers and direct support for Soundwell Studio.
What to include
To help me troubleshoot, include:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- The Soundwell Studio version shown in Help & About.
- What you expected to happen and what happened instead.
- The audio output you were using: iPhone speaker, headphones, Bluetooth, or AirPlay.
Playback questions
Why is the play button unavailable?
Turn on at least one sound before pressing play. Turning on a sound does not start playback.
Why did Soundwell Studio pause when my headphones disconnected?
Playback pauses if your wired or wireless audio output disconnects. Check the new output and volume, then press play again.
Why do binaural beats sound different through the speaker?
Binaural beats use a different tone in each ear, so they require stereo headphones. The other sounds work through speakers.
Can Soundwell Studio continue while my iPhone is locked?
Yes. Playback can continue while your iPhone is locked. Some interruptions may pause it, and iOS controls whether it can resume.
Presets, timer, and privacy
Where are custom presets stored?
Your presets, current mix, and preferences stay in the app on your device. Soundwell Studio does not send them off your device.
Can deleted presets be recovered?
Soundwell Studio has no online backup or recovery service. Apple may include app data in a device backup, depending on your settings.
Does the session timer pause when playback stops?
No. The timer runs separately from playback. Pausing or resuming it does not start or stop audio, and it stops playback without an alarm when time runs out.
